How to Draw a Raft – Easy Step-by-Step Watercraft Drawing for Kids

A raft is one of the simplest types of watercraft, traditionally made by fastening logs or other floating materials together. Its straightforward structure makes it an excellent drawing subject for beginners. Children can practise repeated shapes, perspective, and small construction details while creating their own adventurous river or lake scene.



How to draw a raft: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw the curved outline of the paddle blade.

Step 2: Draw two long lines from the blade to form the paddle handle.

Step 3: Add a curved line inside the paddle blade.

Step 4: Draw a small rounded grip at the end of the handle.
