Step 1: First, draw a small horizontal line toward the bottom of the page. Add a little upright rectangle on each end.

Step 2: Above the horizontal line, construct two vertical lines, connected by a pointed shape, which is a doorway.

Step 3: Duplicate the same design outside, but make it slightly bigger for the doorway design. Between these two pointed designs, make a small horizontal, strip like thing.

Step 4: Construct a large rectangular entrance. Make little circles in the upper corners of it.

Step 5: Sketch two long thin pillars on either side of the entrance.

Step 6: Add little square and small rectangular bands to the tops of the pillars.

Step 7: Join the pillars by drawing two straight horizontal lines over the main entrance, one thin and one thick.

Step 8: Draw two long vertical lines up from the two pillars.

Step 9: Draw a zigzag line in between the tall pillars.

Step 10: In a row below the zigzag line, make little segments with small vertical lines inside.

Step 11: Above this zigzag pattern, draw two rows of horizontal lines with a tiny space in between them.

Step 12: Now make some small vertical lines between these horizontal lines for small panels.

Step 13: Draw a row of small curved arches within the panels.

Step 14: Above the first set of horizontal lines on the top, add a row of rounded arches.

Step 15: Create pointed tips above each rounded arch.

Step 16: Add a few horizontal bands above both tall pillars.

Step 17: Draw tiny domes with pointed tips on both pillars.

Step 18: Draw a long base line extending to the left and right of the main gate. Divide it into sections.

Step 19: On both sides, draw several tall vertical guide lines for the fort’s side buildings.

Step 20: Join the guide lines to form two wide, slightly rounded towers. Beside them, construct rectangular bars on both sides.

Step 21: Above the right rounded tower, create a row of pointed battlements.

Step 22: Add the same pointed battlements above the left tower.

Step 23: Draw a set of horizontal bands across both side buildings. Also draw a long horizontal line that runs across both side buildings.

Step 24: Add four rectangular window frames to each tower.

Step 25: Draw another row of rectangular frames below the first row.

Step 26: Draw a small pointed-arch window inside each frame.

Step 27: Add verticals to the top of the battlements.

Step 28: Construct a flat rectangular platform on top of each of the side towers.

Step 29: Above each platform, draw two short jagged vertical lines.

Step 30: Draw three little arcs between the short lines.

Step 31: Add a tiered roof on top of the arches of both towers.

Step 32: Sketch a big rounded dome on top of each roof.

Step 33: Make a point at the top of each dome.

Step 34: Complete the base of the architecture with a long horizontal line.

Step 35: You have built a Red Fort. Start shading using your favorite colors.
