How to draw a redwood tree: step-by-step drawing instructions
Step 1: Draw a small pointed cluster of leaves at the top.

Step 2: Add another leafy layer below it as in the given image.

Step 3: Draw a branch of leaves on the left side.

Step 4: Add two more leafy branches below.

Step 5: Draw two larger clusters of leaves.

Step 6: Add two more leafy branches below them.

Step 7: Draw two large clusters of leaves near the bottom.

Step 8: Add the final two clusters of leaves.

Step 9: Draw a long-curved line for the left side of the trunk in between the leaves.

Step 10: Draw another long-curved line for the right side of the trunk.

Step 11: Add small branches connecting the trunk to the leaves.

Step 12: Draw the wide roots at the bottom of the trunk.

Step 13: Add the ground line and small tufts of grass.

Step 14: Draw long curved lines along the trunk for the bark.

Step 15: Complete the remaining bark lines and erase any unwanted lines.
