Step 1: Make small waves on the lower part of the paper.

Step 2: Draw two curving lines that form the sides of the boat, keeping a medium distance between them.

Step 3: Join the two sides using curving lines to make the boat’s upper side.

Step 4: Draw a small shape on the boat as in the image.

Step 5: Draw a tall mast with a small circle at the top, starting from the shape that you have just drawn.

Step 6: Add a flying flag on the high point of the mast.

Step 7: Create an extended horizontal boom that is attached to the mast.

Step 8: Sketch the curving sail to the left side of the mast’s bottom.

Step 9: Draw a straight slanting line beginning from where the bow of the vessel is all the way to the very top of the mast to create your left-side sail.
