How to Draw a Samurai – Step-by-Step Warrior Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw a small circle for the centre of the helmet.

Step 2: Add two curved horn shapes on either side.

Step 3: Draw a wide curved helmet band beneath the horns.

Step 4: Draw a little curved base under the helmet.

Step 5: Sketch the form of the face under the helmet.

Step 6: Add side helmet curves around the face.

Step 7: Draw some small, square armour plates on either side.

Step 8: Draw curved side lines on the face shield.

Step 9: Draw a little flower-like knot under the chin.

Step 10: Layer armour plates on both sides of the head.

Step 11: Add some little side embellishments around the bottom of the helmet.

Step 12: Now add the eyebrows, nose and mouth.

Step 13: Begin the right shoulder armour.

Step 14: Finish the right shoulder plate.

Step 15: Draw the left shoulder plate.

Step 16: Add the top shape to the body armour.

Step 17: Start the right arm with a curved sleeve.

Step 18: Draw the right forearm and the wristband.

Step 19: Add the right hand.

Step 20: Bring the left hand close to the right hand.

Step 22: Draw the guard.

Step 23: Draw the left arm behind the sword.

Step 24: Add some little touches on the sword handle. Remember to put a vertical line through the blade.

Step 25: Draw the right lower armour flap.

Step 26:Repair the left lower armour flap.
