How to Draw a Scarecrow – Simple Step-by-Step Farm Drawing for Kids

How to draw a scarecrow: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw the wavy edge of the scarecrow's hat.

Step 2: Attach an extra band on top of the cap over the brim.

Step 3: Draw the crown of the hat. Draw the small patch. 

Step 4: Put short straw pieces that are short and hang under the cap

Step 5: Draw a face with a semicircle beneath the hat.

Step 6: Add a second row of straws sticking out to the right and left as shown in the image.

Step 7: Add more bristles pointing downwards on each side of the face.

Step 8: Create an equilateral triangular nose with a stitched smile and stitched small marks in it.

Step 9: Make the neck a little longer and add a small bow below the face.

Step 10: Add the two straps that hang down.

Step 11: Draw the left sleeve of the shirt.

Step 12: Make the right-hand sleeve on the shirt.

Step 13: Draw the sides of the scarecrow's body with wavy lines.

Step 14: Attach the left trouser leg that has an abrasive bottom.

Step 15: Make the left trouser leg that has the bottom ragged.

Step 16: Draw straw sticking out of the left sleeve.

Step 17: Add straw sticking out of the left sleeve also.

Step 18: Draw the stick's ends by slipping them through the sleeves. 

Step 19: Put straw in the direction that comes out of the right trouser leg.

Step 20: Add straw that comes out of the left trouser leg.

Step 21: Then draw that long wood pole beneath the scarecrow between its legs.

Step 22: Apply little patches or stitch details onto the clothing.

Step 23: Draw two eyes on the face. Shade the eyeballs black.

Step 24: You have completed the scarecrow's drawing. Now color it with your favourite shades!
