Everyday objects can be fun to sketch! Learn how to draw scissors with Monkey Pen’s simple step-by-step drawing tutorial.

Step 1: Draw a long sloping line in a vertical direction for the blade.

Step 2: Then perform a sharp V turn below and drop from the top end of the queue.

Step 3: Make a little curve under the line.

Step 4: Next, design the oval form for the handle.

Step 5: Make the handle look thick by drawing an inner oval. Also, there is a small hole in the centre to hold it.

Step 6: Draw a similar line as shown in step 1. Don’t forget to add a vertical line under the existing blade, to show another blade.

Step 7: Make the other blade in the opposite direction with the same sharp V turn used to create the other blade.

Step 8: Design a spoon shape for the other handle.

Step 9: An inner oval is drawn within the handle.

Step 10: On the other blade, draw a small round shape which joins both blades. Remember to draw a tiny horizontal line below the round.

Step 11: Compact scissors is ready to use.
