Would you like to explore a seal drawing? Monkey Pen invites everyone to uncover the secrets behind how to draw a seal.

Step 1: First, we will draw the seal’s head. Draw a big C at the left-side corner of the page, facing the right bottom corner.

Step 2: Draw a half ‘U’ from the top end of the ‘C’ for its curved body on the upper side.

Step 3: From the other end of the ‘C’, draw a half-moon-like shape for its body on the lower side.

Step 4: Draw one of its flippers that starts within the body. Its design resembles a bottle that is slightly bent in the middle, and the bottom is uneven.

Step 5: Draw the lower body of the seal with a slightly curved line that extends upwards from the flippers.

Step 6: Draw its tail over the top with a heart shape that is incomplete at the bottom.

Step 7: Include another flipper on the right side just below the curved body with a slanting ‘U’ shape having an uneven bottom. (Refer to step 4)

Step 8: Add eyebrows and whiskers. Two tiny dark dash-like lines will do eyebrows, and three parallel lines on each side of the face will create whiskers for the seals.

Step 9: Add details for flippers and tail using parallel lines.

Step 10: Draw a rounded triangle for its nose. Then draw a wide ‘W’, a small ‘U’ right down and in the middle, followed by a tiny curve to show the smiling mouth. A little below, include a small curve for the chin.

Step 11: Draw the movement of water below the seal using a big wavy design. Then add a few curves randomly inside it.

Step 12: Draw its eyes using circles.

Step 13: Darken the eyes inside, leaving one corner unshaded to show the inner eyes or eyeballs.

Step 14: A cheerful seal drawing is over.
