Follow this step-by-step seaweed drawing tutorial for kids and create an underwater plant using easy shapes and simple instructions.

Step 1: Draw an oval shape initially. Draw two more ovals underneath, one small and another slightly big.

Step 2: Draw two ovals above the initial oval on the left side and draw another oval on the right side but slightly smaller.

Step 3: Draw a long spiral line for making a leaf above the right-side oval.

Step 4: Draw another parallel line and provide a pointed end to it at the top.

Step 5: Draw another spiral line starting from the centre of the second spiral line and moving up for another leaf.

Step 6: Complete this long spiral line which is attached to an oval base.

Step 7: Create a curly line above the base of the second leaf.

Step 8: Finish this leaf outline just like the previous one.

Step 9: Create a leaf outline with few curls from the left side oval.

Step 10: Make matching curls to finish the leaf.

Step 11: Another leaf begins nearby.

Step 12: This leaf is done with similar curls.

Step 13: Between these two leaves arises a new leaf.

Step 14: This leaf is also drawn the same way.

Step 15: Beside it begins a leaf that extends above.

Step 16: Draw smooth curves for completing this leaf.

Step 17: At the bottom, add a leaf.

Step 18: Now draw spiral lines that run centrally with each longer leaf.

Step 19: Don’t forget to draw midribs for small leaves.

Step 20: An easy seaweed drawing is over.
