Step 1: Draw a small bow at the top of the dog’s head.

Step 2: Draw a long, wavy line down the left side of the head.

Step 3: Draw another wavy line down the right side of the head.

Step 4: Draw the long, furry left ear.

Step 5: Add the long, furry right ear.

Step 6: Draw a round, furry muzzle around the lower part of the face.

Step 7: Draw the nose, mouth and small tongue.

Step 8: Add the fluffy hair above the left side of the bow.

Step 9: Complete the fluffy hair above the right side of the bow.

Step 10: Draw the small tuft of hair below the bow.

Step 11: Draw a long, furry line down from the head to begin the chest and body.

Step 12: Draw the first front leg and its rounded paw.

Step 13: Add the second front leg and rounded paw.

Step 14: Extend a curved, furry line backwards to form the belly.

Step 15: Draw the curled inner part of the fluffy tail.

Step 16: Add the long, feathery outer edge of the tail.

Step 17: Draw the outer edge of the first hind leg and its paw.

Step 18: Complete the first hind leg by drawing its inner edge.

Step 19: Draw the second hind leg and rounded paw behind the body.

Step 20: Add small, curved lines to divide all four paws into toes.

Step 21: Draw short, curved lines across the head, body, legs and tail to show the long fur.

Step 22: Draw two round eyes above the muzzle.

Step 23: Add curved markings around the eyes and along both sides of the muzzle.

Step 24: Draw the inner circles of both eyes.

Step 25: Add dark pupils and small highlights inside the eyes.

Step 26: Darken the eyes and nose, erase any unnecessary lines and color your Shih Tzu to make your drawing more beautiful!
