How to draw a side-profile face step by step? Here is the Monkey Pen guide to help you.  

Step 1: First, start the hairline with a hook shape.

Step 2: From the curled part, stretch a wide C-shaped curve for the forehead and a sharp curve that extends below for the nose.

Step 3: Below it, draw a ‘3’ vertically, which makes the mouth, and travel in the right-side direction to complete the chin below.

Step 4: Draw the ear outline and lower jaw using deep curves. This makes a side face.

Step 5: Add hair that falls at the back with a reverse L.

Step 6: Show some hair on the other side to denote a partition.

Step 7: Include some more hair that lies below the hairline and above the head.

Step 8: Below the ear, draw a long-curved line for the neck.

Step 9: Draw a C-shaped curve for the other side of the neck.

Step 10: Just below the neck, add the front shoulder with a flat C-shaped curve.

Step 11: Show the wavy hair at the back.

Step 12: Create the hair layers with a wide C below.

Step 13: Add a long, curly portion to the hair that falls below at the back.

Step 14: Show the hair that falls on the other shoulder too, using a curved line.

Step 15: Draw a vertical line below the ear and a wavy line to define the hair.  

Step 16: Add thick eyebrows on the face. Also provide a sharp bang that falls above the ear.

Step 17: Add the inner ear, make a hole for the nose and define the mouth.

Step 18: Draw big eyes with thick eyelashes.

Step 19: Show the pupil inside the eye using a tiny circle.

Step 20: A bold side profile face drawing is completed.
