How to Draw Simple Emojis – Easy Step-by-Step Emoji Drawing for Kids
Kids can learn how to draw simple emoji faces using easy shapes and fun step-by-step picture guides.
Step 1: Create a clean circle around the outline of the face of the emoji.

Step 2: Add an unintentionally curled smile at the centre of the circle.

Step 3: Draw two oval eyes that are above your smile (one on each side).

Step 4: Start another, larger circle to the left (leave an inch of space in your outline).

Step 5: Inside the larger circle, draw a small smile that curves upwards.

Step 6: On the right-hand side, on the right side of your larger circle, create a heart shape over the outline.

Step 7: Add one small curly line inside the heart shape to highlight an emphasis.

Step 8: The left eye is drawn in an oval. Then draw the opposite eye with a curving wink line.

Step 9: Create a new circle to the right to make the third emoji face.

Step 10: Inside the circle, draw an open mouth (a curving form with a tiny gap).

Step 11: Place an eye with a heart on one side of the face.

Step 12: Draw the second heart-shaped eye on either side of your face that has been created.

Step 13: Draw another circle on the left-hand side for a different emoji.

Step 14: Create an elongated smile at the centre of this new circle.

Step 15: Draw a glass lens shape on the top-left corner of the face you are drawing (a round rectangle or oval).

Step 16: Draw the second lens on the right side of the top to match the first.

Step 17: Add the bridge to the glasses as well as the shorter side arms joining the two lenses.

Step 18: Draw the outer details and rims in each lens to complete the glasses' look.

Step 19: Draw another circle in the lower-right corner to create a new emoji.

Step 20: Draw two tiny curves near the top of your head to create closed eyes. Draw a frown-like mouth that is curved beneath.

Step 21: Draw two oval eyes inside the sad face.

Step 22: Create a new circle at the lower end of the face (draw the large curving outline).

Step 23: Finish the circle with a small curving line at the lower end.

Step 24: Create an eye-drop shape on the left side of your face.

Step 25: Draw an elongated line on the right of the face that will complete the teardrop/cheese edge.

Step 26: Draw two small curving lines on the top of the face to create eyes that are closed and joyful.

Step 27: Make a large, broad smile (a long, curved mouth) between your hands.

Step 28: Draw an even line across the smile to form the top edge of your open mouth or teeth.

Step 29: Draw two tiny curving lines over the mouth to show smiling, squeezed eyes.

Step 30: Draw the final details for the mouth (the inner lines that complete the mouth).
