How to Draw a Spinosaurus – Step-by-Step Dinosaur Drawing for Kids

How to draw a Spinosaurus: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Sketch the top part of the snout of the Spinosaurus.

Step 2: Place the lower jaw that is open under the snout.

Step 3: Draw the nostril, eye, and a few head-related details.

Step 4: Draw a long curving line from the upper neck portion to the back.

Step 5: Add a line to the lower neckline running downwards from the jaw.

Step 6: Make sharp teeth inside the mouth as shown in the image.

Step 7: Add additional teeth to make the mouth complete.

Step 8: Draw one of the two small arms in front with claws at the end.

Step 9: Draw the second front arm with claws.

Step 10: Now add the belly line below.

Step 11: Draw one of the back legs with sharp claws.

Step 12: Draw the second back leg and foot using claws.

Step 13: Create the curving line in the back of the Spinosaurus's body.

Step 14: Then draw the long line on the upper part of the tail.

Step 15: Include the line from below as well as a sharp tail tip.

Step 16: Begin the large sail on the Spinosaurus's back using a wave-like line.

Step 17: Finish the back sail with a wavy line joining at its tail.

Step 18: Start drawing the first lines in the sail.

Step 19: Add additional straight lines in the sail.

Step 20: Complete all remaining lines of the sail close to the tail.

Step 21: Apply small curving stripes on the neck and claws.

Step 22: Add an eye with a small circle.

Step 23: Darken the eyeball to stand out.
