How to Draw a Stadium – Simple Step-by-Step Sports Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Start by drawing a large and broad oval shape, which will be the upper half of the stadium.

Step 2: Then draw a second oval shape within the first one to make the outer boundary with two small openings at the front.

Step 3: Make a curved oval shape within the first one for the start of the inner arena.

Step 4: Draw a second curved line below to form the first tier of seats.

Step 5: Make a second tier of seats within the stadium.

Step 6: Make a curved line tier to finish the first tier of seats.

Step 7: Draw an oval shape around the top edge of the stadium to make the outer roof thicker.

Step 8: Draw a curved line below the stadium to make the lower outer wall.

Step 9: Draw some long and slanting support pillars below the stadium.

Step 10: Draw some more support pillars on the outer boundary of the stadium.

Step 11: Join the pillars with a horizontal belt around the stadium.

Step 12: Draw another horizontal band below it to create another outer level.

Step 13: Draw a big rectangle at the front centre to make the main entrance.

Step 14: Draw a smaller rectangle in the opening. Draw a curved bottom edge.

Step 15: Draw several vertical lines within the doorway to construct the entrance door.

Step 16: Draw the bottom outer wall on both sides of entry.

Step 17: Add little rectangular side doors and entrances all around the stadium.

Step 18: Add more wall elements and doors to finish the outside.

Step 19: Add vertical divider lines properly spaced across the upper seating section.

Step 20: Draw another row of dividing lines on the middle seat area.

Step 21: Draw a horizontal line across the playing field and add a vertical centre line.

Step 22: Draw the left and right penalty areas within the field.

Step 23: Set the goal boxes and tiny goal structures at each end of the field.

Step 24: Finish up the contours of the two goal areas and touch up the field markers.

Step 25: Draw the centre circle and the penalty arcs next to each goal.

Step 26: Draw two tall vertical poles behind the stadium for the flood lighting.

Step 27: Add a rectangle lighting panel on top of the right pole.

Step 28: Attach a coordinating lighting fixture to the top of the left pole.

Step 29: Draw little circles inside both floodlights for the light.

Step 30: Draw a few little flagpoles with waving flags on top of the stadium.

Step 31: Draw a big, curved path around the front of the stadium.

Step 32: Add two straight lines of path leading from the main entrance into the foreground.

Step 33: The drawing of a big stadium is done.
