Turn a tropical fruit into a fun drawing project as Monkey Pen shows you how to draw a star fruit step by step using simple shapes and easy instructions.

Step 1: Draw a thin, curving 'V'-like shape to mark the first section of the star fruit.

Step 2: Add another two points to make the first fruit slice.

Step 3: Finish the outline of a star by adding two more 'v' shapes.

Step 4: Draw another outer line on the left side to show the fruit's thickness as in the image.

Step 5: Outline a star inside, parallel to the first drawing outline.

Step 6: Draw tiny seed-like shapes in the middle.

Step 7: Now start drawing the entire star fruit by drawing the large curving line near the star fruit slice you have already drawn.

Step 8: Finish the oval fruit shape as shown in the picture.

Step 9: Make an extended curving ridge over the fruit.

Step 10: Draw a further curving ridge to its right.

Step 11: Create an extended middle ridge.

Step 12: Create a fine ridge along the left ridge.

Step 13: Create a second curving ridge close to the ridge on the right side.

Step 14: Create a shorter stem that is at the top.

Step 15: Attach an unintentionally curled twig to the top of the stem.

Step 16: Extend the twig to the left.

Step 17: Extend the branch towards the upper side as in the picture.

Step 18: Finish this long branch.

Step 19: Add one small leaf to the twig, just behind the full star fruit.

Step 20: Create another leaf on the same side.

Step 21: Add a leaf to the branch.

Step 22: Add the central vein in the leaf on the left.

Step 23: Draw veins on the other leaves also.

Step 24: Now your star fruit sketch is completed! Make it look more delicious by coloring!
