How to Draw a Subway Train – Easy City Transport Drawing for Kids
Here are easy step-by-step instructions on how to draw a tube train from Monkey Pen.
Step 1: First draw a square with rounded corners; this is the front of the train.

Step 2: Draw a line diagonally and horizontally from the left corner of the top square which constitutes the body of the train, behind the square.

Step 3: Now draw an inclination line from the left bottom corner to the back.

Step 4: Draw a thin, rounded-corner rectangle inside the square.

Step 5: Draw two little rounded squares next to each other, underneath the rectangle.

Step 6: Under each square, draw a little circle.

Step 7: Draw a smaller circle inside each little circle. Then draw a horizontal line underneath the circles.

Step 8: Inside the horizontal lines on the body of the train draw a small square.

Step 9: Next to it draw a rectangle with rounded edges. This is the door.

Step 10: Draw another little, smaller square next to it for the window.

Step 11: Next, create another rectangle, but make it slightly smaller. That’s a door.

Step 12: Add narrow rectangles for the glass windows on the first door.

Step 13: Provide windows for the second door too.

Step 14: Draw a long line horizontally across the top of the compartment. On the bottom, draw double lines from the front to the first door and from the first to the second.

Step 15: Draw little circles for wheels on the front and back of the train.

Step 16: Now on one side, draw the train track using the two vertical lines that are diagonal.

Step 17: Do the railroad track on the other side as well.

Step 18: Draw straight lines down the centre of the railroad tracks.

Step 19: Draw horizontal lines for the train track that look like stripes arranged one below another.

Step 20: Near the left-side track, draw a straight line lying diagonally.

Step 21: Now draw an F-shaped thin rectangular bar-like thing for the post in the platform.

Step 22: Above it, draw a little thicker rectangular bar for the roof of the platform.

Step 23: Complete the roof with a short, inclined line.

Step 24: Extend the line at the back and make a very thin rectangle alongside the lower part of F.

Step 25: Make another post at the back, using rectangular bar shaped designs.

Step 26: Create rectangular naming board for the station and hang them using thin strips.

Step 27: Continue the body of the train with a single line on the top and a double line in the bottom.

Step 28: Add doors and windows using rectangles and squares.

Step 29: Write “SUBWAY STATION” in the naming board in block letters.

Step 30: A modern subway train drawing is completed.
