Step 1: Draw a long, narrow rectangle for the base of the building.

Step 2: Draw the first stepped section on the left side of the base.

Step 3: Add more small levels above the first stepped section.

Step 18: Add long inner lines to the main sails.

Step 19: Draw more inner lines along the curved edges of the sails.

Step 20: Add short lines beneath the sails to connect them to the building.

Step 21: Draw rows of narrow vertical window panels beneath the shell roofs.

Step 22: Add several wavy lines below the building to begin the harbour water.

Step 23: Continue the wavy water lines across the right side.

Step 24: Erase any unnecessary lines and colour the Sydney Opera House drawing to make it more beautiful.
