How to Draw a Tree with Birds – Easy Step-by-Step Nature Scene Drawing for Kids
Bring nature to life with Monkey Pen and learn how to draw a tree with birds step by step using simple branches, leaves, and charming bird shapes.
Step 1: Draw a slightly curved trunk line with a few small pointed twigs at the top.

Step 2: Draw another slightly curved line beside it and add more pointed twigs.

Step 3: Add a new branch extending towards the left as shown in the image.

Step 4: Extend the left branch and start drawing a curved trunk line below it.

Step 5: Add the first line of another branch extending towards the right.

Step 6: Draw another line under the one you have just drawn for the right branch and draw a curved trunk line below it.

Step 7: Draw a small branch on the lower-left side.

Step 8: Extend the lower-left branch with another curved line.

Step 9: Draw a small branch on the lower-right side.

Step 10: Extend the lower-right branch and add two small twigs.

Step 11: Draw a large curved line to form the left side of the trunk.

Step 12: Draw another large curved line to form the right side of the trunk.

Step 13: Add spreading roots at the bottom-left and centre of the trunk.

Step 14: Draw more spreading roots on the bottom-right side.

Step 15: Add several small leaves to the upper branches as shown in the image.

Step 16: Draw the body outline of the first bird on the upper-left branch.

Step 17: Add the bird’s eye, beak, wing, feet and tail feathers.

Step 18: Draw the body outline of the second bird on the upper-right branch.

Step 19: Add its eye, beak, wing, feet and tail feathers.

Step 20: Draw the body outline of the third bird on the lower-right branch.

Step 21: Add its eye, beak, wing, feet and tail feathers.

Step 22: Draw the body outline of the fourth bird on the lower-left branch.

Step 23: Add its eye, beak, wing, feet and tail feathers.

Step 24: Draw more leaves around the birds and add curved bark lines to the trunk.

Step 25: Draw a bumpy cloud-like outline around the left side of the tree’s leafy crown.

Step 26: Continue the bumpy outline across the top of the tree.

Step 27: Complete the leafy crown by drawing the outline down the right side and across the lower-right area.

Step 28: Draw a small patch of grass beside the left roots.

Step 29: Add another patch of grass beside the right roots.

Step 30: Erase any unwanted lines and colour your tree and birds.
