How to Draw a Valentine Card – Simple Step-by-Step Greeting Card Drawing for Kids

Celebrate kindness and creativity with Monkey Pen as you learn how to draw a Valentine card step by step using simple hearts, decorations, and easy shapes.

Step 1: Draw an upright rectangle first.

Step 2: Add the corners of the back cover of the card.

Step 3: Draw some wavy lines across the top of the front cover for the design.

Step 4: Repeat the wavy design on the left-hand side of the card too. 

Step 5: Add the design on the right side.

Step 6: Also complete the design on the underside.

Step 7: Begin sketching a heart in the centre of the card from the right.

Step 8: Now draw a broad curve for the outline of the heart.

Step 9: At the bottom of the heart, slightly below, add a small circle.

Step 10: Make a bow shape, keeping the circle at the centre.

Step 11: Extend the ribbons below the bow.

Step 12: In the upper right and left corners, draw small hearts.

Step 13: Add a heart to the top middle and right and left.

Step 14: Below each heart on the right and left, a small circle is added.

Step 15: Form a flower shape around the right side circle.

Step 16: On the left side, another flower is formed.

Step 17: Make stems for both flowers using vertical lines.

Step 18: Provide leaves to the flowers.

Step 19: The veins for the leaves are also added.

Step 20: Write "Happy" inside the large heart at the centre.

Step 21: Continue with “Valentine’s” below the word “Happy”.

Step 22: Write “Day!” under “Valentine”.

Step 23: You have designed a heartwarming valentine card.
