Oliver was a curious little boy who loved discovering new things.
He enjoyed building toy towers, drawing colourful pictures, and asking lots of questions.
Every day felt like a new adventure.

One rainy afternoon, Oliver explored Grandpa’s dusty attic, filled with old books, toys and family treasures.
Then he heard something.
Tick... tick... tick...
On a small table stood a golden clock with shimmering hands and tiny stars carved around its edge.

Beside it lay a note:
“Turn the silver key to visit today once more.”
“A magic clock?” Oliver whispered.
He carefully turned the key.
Sparkling light filled the spinning room.
Whoosh!

Oliver woke in his bedroom to his mother calling, “Good morning!”
He checked the calendar. It was the same day!
“It worked!” he laughed.
Knowing what would happen, Oliver won every game, caught the runaway ball and answered every question correctly at school.
“This is amazing!” he cheered.
That night, he smiled. “I want another perfect day.”

Oliver turned the silver key again.
Whoosh!
The morning began once more.
At first, it was fun. He tried new games, breakfasts and clothes. He knew where every butterfly would land and every bird would sing.
Whenever he made a mistake, he simply restarted the day.

Time seemed to pass, but every day stayed the same.
His friends repeated the same jokes, and his teacher asked the same questions. Even his favourite ice cream tasted ordinary.
“I already know what everyone will say,” Oliver sighed.
Nothing felt exciting anymore.

One afternoon, Oliver accidentally knocked over his block tower.
Crash!
He reached for the silver key but stopped.
“Maybe I can build it better.”
He tried again, making the bottom stronger. Soon, the tower stood taller than before.
Oliver smiled proudly. “I didn’t need to restart the day.”

Later, Oliver accidentally spilled blue paint across his picture.
“Oh no!” he groaned, reaching for the silver key.
Then he picked up his brush and turned the splash into a sparkling river with trees, ducks and a tiny bridge.
His mistake became the best part of the picture.

That evening, Oliver sat quietly beside the magical clock. Grandfather smiled.
"So," he asked gently, "did the clock help you?"
Oliver nodded.
"It did."
"But not because I could keep repeating the day."
Grandfather smiled.
"What did you learn?"

“What did you learn?” Grandfather asked.
Oliver looked at the clock. “Mistakes aren’t the end. They help us learn, and if I keep going backwards, I’ll never discover tomorrow.”
Grandfather smiled. “That’s exactly how life works.”
Oliver placed the silver key beside the clock.
“I don’t need it anymore,” he said.

"I'm ready for tomorrow."
The clock gave one soft...
Tick... Tock...
Its hands began moving forward once again.
And grandpa hugged him happily.

The next morning, Oliver woke with a happy smile.
A brand-new day was waiting for him.
He knew there might be mistakes.
But he also knew that every mistake was a chance to learn, grow, and become a little wiser.
And that made every new day the greatest adventure of all.
Moral: Learn from mistakes instead of trying to erase them. Every mistake helps you grow.
