High above the green hills floated a little cloud named Puffy. He was soft, white, and as fluffy as cotton.

Every day, he drifted across the bright blue sky, watching the world below.

He loved looking at colourful flowers, singing birds, sparkling rivers, and playful animals.

More than anything, Puffy wanted to rain.

Each afternoon, he watched the big clouds water forests, gardens, and fields. Flowers grew taller, trees became greener, and children splashed in puddles.

“One day, I’ll rain like them,” Puffy whispered.

“When you’re ready, just do your best,” the older clouds encouraged him.

One warm morning, Puffy felt full of water.

“This is my chance!” he cried.

He puffed up and squeezed with all his might.

“Ready... steady... rain!”

Plip... plop...

Only a few tiny drops fell, while the big clouds poured sparkling showers over the hills.

“I’m too little to help anyone,” Puffy sighed.

Feeling sad, he drifted away.

Puffy floated over a garden where a little daisy drooped in the warm sun.

Two tiny drops fell onto its petals and stem.

The daisy lifted its head and smiled. “Thank you!”

“Those little drops helped?” Puffy asked.

“They were exactly what I needed,” said the daisy. “Every drop counts.”

Puffy smiled, though he still wasn’t completely sure.

Puffy soon found a robin with three thirsty baby birds.

“The puddles have dried up,” she said.

Puffy gathered his last drops.

Plip... plop...

Water landed on the leaves below, and the babies drank happily.

“Thank you, little cloud!” they chirped.

Their cheerful voices made Puffy feel lighter.

Over a sunny meadow, Puffy found a tired butterfly resting on a flower.

“My wings are so warm,” she sighed.

Puffy sprinkled a few cool drops, and the butterfly fluttered happily through the mist.

“Thank you! That feels wonderful!”

Puffy’s heart felt brighter.

Beneath an oak tree, a squirrel struggled to bury his acorns in the hard ground.

Puffy sprinkled a few drops, softening the soil.

The squirrel quickly buried his acorns and smiled.

“You made my work easier. Thank you!”

"You made my work much easier. Thank you!"

Now Puffy felt something he hadn't felt before.

Maybe his little showers really could help.

Just then, the wise old Wind drifted by.

"You look much happier," said the Wind.

"I wanted to make a big rain like the other clouds," Puffy admitted. "But I could only make little drops. I thought I wasn't good enough."

The Wind smiled gently.

“The world doesn’t always need heavy rain,” said the Wind.

“A flower may need a sip, baby birds a few drops, a butterfly a cool sprinkle, and a squirrel softer soil.”

Puffy listened carefully.

“It isn’t how much you give that matters,” the Wind continued. “It’s helping whenever you can.”

Puffy looked down at the smiling daisy, the happy robin family, the fluttering butterfly, and the grateful squirrel.

Each one had been helped by his tiny rain.

For the first time, Puffy didn't wish to be a big cloud.

He was happy being himself.

From that day on, Puffy looked for anyone needing help.

He watered flowers, cooled butterflies, and filled leaves with water for thirsty birds.

His showers were never big or loud, but his small acts of kindness made the world brighter.

Puffy knew that even the smallest cloud could make a big difference.

Moral: Even the smallest helping hand can brighten someone's day.
