It was a wonderful day. I, Rohit, was relaxing in the beautiful garden, sitting under a tree, observing my pet cat, Sooty, chasing butterflies.

He is a clever cat, so he was catching the butterflies with a net. Just then, we heard a wail.

I looked around and saw the most beautiful yellow bird.

She was trying to fly but could not, as her legs were stuck in a bush.

I carefully freed her, and to my surprise, she started to talk.

" Hello, I am Tweety. Thank you for helping me. What is your name?" She asked.

Now, this is incredible- a bird who can speak! “Wow!” I marvelled, “Hi, Tweety! I am Rohit. How did you learn to talk?”

Tweety replied, “You have saved me from being stuck here; that is why you can understand what I’m saying.”

Just then, Tweety’s eyes fell on Sooty. “I thought I saw a pussy cat”, she chirped curiously.

She looked at Sooty again and tweeted, “Oh! I did! I did see a pussy cat!”

Suddenly, Sooty lurched at Tweety but missed.

I took Tweety inside my home and showed her to everyone.

They all gasped at Tweety, as they had never seen such a beautiful bird before.

I smiled and took Tweety to my room. “Welcome Home, Tweety!”

It was a fine morning the next day.

I woke up listening to Tweety singing, perched on my study table.

She sang sweetly.

I left my room to check on Sooty. I looked everywhere but could not find him.

Then suddenly, I heard an ear-splitting cry from my bedroom. “Meowww!”

I rushed up to see what the matter was, but found the door locked. “Strange!”

I wondered. I looked through the peephole and saw what caused the confusion.

“You rude pussy cat! Take this,” cried Tweety. I heard a splash and saw a wet Sooty shaking himself off.

It seems that Tweety tipped my water glass over Sooty.

Then the door flew open.

Tweety came out and told me that Sooty had sneaked in, locked the door, and tried to eat her, but in vain.

“That was very brave and clever of you, Tweety!” I praised her. She flew and sat on the bed, watching Sooty as he approached me.

"Don't worry, Sooty," I said. "I'm not angry, but you've been a naughty cat."

It was Pet Talent Show Day at school!

I used to take Sooty all the time. Today, I’m taking Tweety!

I had been helping her to practice her talent, singing!

I must say, she has a heavenly voice. She wrote the lines for her song.

It was all about the beauty of the forests. I proudly took her to school.

When we arrived, I attended my classes with Tweety by my side.

I was surprised to see that Tweety was also taking notes!

“Bless you, my little bird.” I muttered affectionately.

When it was time to go, my classmates and I kept our bags in the class and rushed off with our pets.

I was inside the large school auditorium when I realised something: Tweety was not with me!

I was shocked and dashed back towards the crowd, saying, “Excuse me… Pardon me… Oops, sorry!”

I soon reached the door and tried to open it, but the crowd jammed the door shut.

Suddenly, through the open glass window, I saw a bird flying towards the door.

It was Tweety! She flew towards me and perched on my right shoulder.

I took her and held her softly. “I’m so glad to see you, Tweety.”

I whispered to her. “Me too...” she whispered back.

When it was our turn, we stepped onto the stage, and I addressed the audience.

“Hello Everyone! I am Rohit Roy with my pet bird, Tweety.

Tweety is going to sing a beautiful song for all of you.”

Tweety started singing melodiously.

"The forests are green,

And very, very clean,

You may take a visit to see the unforeseen.

If you like it very much,

Give the trees a clutch,

And promise, don’t pollute the forests at all.”

"Woohoooo!" the crown screamed.
