On the edge of a bright green meadow lived a tiny baby kangaroo named Kiki.
Kiki had soft golden-brown fur, big sparkling eyes, and the cutest little pouch.
Every morning, Mama Kangaroo gave Kiki a warm hug.
"Have a happy day, little one," she said with a smile.
Kiki smiled back.
Just then...
Something magical happened!
A tiny glowing smile floated through the air...
Whoosh...
It gently landed inside Kiki's little pouch.
"Oh!" giggled Kiki.
"My pouch is glowing!"
Mama smiled.
"Every kind smile you share is a special treasure."
Kiki skipped happily through the meadow.
Hop!
Hop!
Hop!
Soon she met Bunny.
"Good morning, Bunny!"
Kiki smiled.
Bunny smiled back.
Whoosh!
Another tiny glowing smile floated into Kiki's pouch.
It sparkled even brighter.
Next, Kiki saw Little Duck splashing in the pond.
"Splish! Splash!" laughed Duck.
Kiki laughed too.
They smiled at each other.
Whoosh!
Another little smile twinkled into the pouch.
Now it glowed like a tiny golden lantern.
As Kiki walked farther, she found Hedgehog trying to roll a shiny red apple.
It was just a little too heavy.
Kiki gave it a gentle push.
Together they rolled it home.
Hedgehog smiled the biggest smile.
Whoosh!
Into the pouch floated another glowing smile.
By afternoon, Kiki's pouch shimmered with happy little lights.
Butterfly smiled.
Bird smiled.
Squirrel smiled.
Kiki smiled right back.
Each smile floated gently into her pouch like a tiny golden star.
When the sun began to set, Kiki hopped home.
Her pouch glowed brighter than ever.
Mama looked at it and smiled.
"My goodness!"
"What a wonderful day you've had."
Kiki peeked inside her pouch.
It was filled with beautiful glowing smiles.
"They're so pretty," whispered Kiki.
Mama gave her another warm hug.
"The more smiles you share," she said softly,
"The more happiness you carry in your heart."
Kiki closed her eyes with a happy little smile.
Outside, the stars twinkled above the quiet meadow.
Inside, Kiki's little pouch glowed softly...
Filled with every smile she had shared that day.
