Drawing angels is a wonderful way to bring out your imagination. You can even picture yourself floating in the clouds along with them! At Monkey Pen, we want you to have the simplest, most playful, and exciting time with your drawings. That's why we have created the best step-by-step drawing worksheets and easy-to-follow, cheerful, and imaginative videos.

Angel wings are the most popular part of angels to draw- and for good reason! Wings can be big and fluffy or soft and curly like clouds; they don't have to be perfect. There are many fun things to draw, so why not change up the style of your angel and draw a different one, or even several?

What Makes Angel Drawing So Special?

In many old paintings and stories, angels were drawn with giant wings to show protection, kindness, and freedom. That's why you're so lucky to be able to draw them now! They look seamless and peaceful!

Drawing an angel with wings helps you learn how to put your imagination into drawing using curves and all sorts of different shapes. You can draw a circle and make it a smiling face or a curved line and make it a robe. You can also create a wing by drawing a feather shape with a little bit of effort. Storytelling is a wonderful way to help people learn to draw.

A Fun Idea

Some children search for quick and easy ideas on how to draw an angel. That's why Monkey Pen videos and worksheets focus on the fun instead of complicated art lessons. First, we target young kids and beginners who are just beginning to have fun with drawing.

A fascinating part of drawing angels is that all drawings look different. One child may draw a baby angel. Another child may draw a glowing angel flying across a sparkly star. Some may even learn how to draw an angel with wings, with a crown with sparkles, a rainbow and clouds, or hearts.

It's common that children feel a sense of pride once they finish an angel drawing. That feeling pushes them to keep learning and drawing more. Drawing is also a great way for children to stay calm and focused while growing their imagination.
