One sunny day, a little bunny was hopping in the garden.
Hop… hop… hop…
“Sniff… sniff…”
“What is that?” the bunny wondered.
There, in the soil, was a big orange carrot.
“Wow! A big carrot!” the bunny said.
The bunny pulled—
tug… tug… tug…
But the carrot did not move.
The bunny tried again—
tug… tug… tug…
Still stuck!
“Oh no…” said the bunny.
A little mouse came by.
“What’s wrong?” asked the mouse.
“It won’t come out!” said the bunny.
“Let me help!” said the mouse.
They both pulled together—
tug… tug… tug…
POP!
The big carrot came out!
“Yay!” they cheered.
The bunny tried to lift it.
Lift… lift…
“Oof! Too heavy!” the bunny said.
The mouse giggled.
“Let’s roll it!”
They pushed the carrot—
roll… roll… roll…
Down a small hill it went!
“Wait!” cried the bunny.
Hop! Hop! Hop!
The bunny and mouse ran after it.
The carrot rolled past flowers… past a rock…
Then—bump!
It stopped near the bunny’s home.
“Oh!” said the bunny.
“It came with us!”
The bunny and the mouse laughed happily.
They sat down together and nibbled the big carrot.
Crunch… crunch… crunch…
“Yummy!” they smiled.
