In a warm burrow, a little rabbit curled up in soft, dry leaves.
“Mmm… so cozy,” it said, snuggling deeper.
Outside, the wind began to blow.
Whoooosh… whoooosh…
Suddenly, the rabbit heard a tiny voice.
“Help… I’m cold,” chirped a small bird.

The rabbit lifted its head.
“Who is that?” it wondered.

It walked to the little opening of its burrow…
and peeked outside.
There, on a branch, sat a small bird—
shivering in the cold wind.
“Oh… it’s so warm inside,” the rabbit thought.

“I don’t want to go out…”
The rabbit started to turn back.
But then it looked at the bird again.
The bird was shaking and looked very scared.

The rabbit felt a soft, warm feeling in its heart.
“I don’t want the bird to feel cold and scared,” it said.
Then hop… hop… hop… it went outside.
“Come in,” said the rabbit kindly.

The bird flew into the burrow.
Warm and safe at last.
“Thank you,” the bird chirped softly.

The rabbit smiled.
“It’s okay,” it said.
They sat together in the warm burrow…
listening to the wind outside.
Inside, everything felt calm and safe.
Moral: Helping others is more important than staying comfortable.
