One day, a little leaf hung on a tree.
It swayed gently in the breeze.
“I like it here,” said the leaf.
Suddenly—snap!
The leaf let go.
“Oh no!” it said as it began to fall.
Just then, the wind whispered softly,
“Come with me.”
Whoosh!
The leaf lifted again.
It danced in the air…
twirl… twirl…
“Wheee!” laughed the leaf.
Then—plip!
It landed on a smooth river stream.
“Oh!” said the leaf.
The water carried it along.
Glide… glide…
It passed little stones…
and waving plants…
The leaf rocked gently.
“This is nice!” it smiled.
The river slowed down.
The leaf came to rest near the shore.
“That was fun!” it laughed.
“I went on a big adventure!”
