One early morning, a little child sat by the window.
The sky was still dark and quiet.

“Mama,” the child asked softly.
“Why does the sun come every day?”
The mother smiled and sat beside her.

“Let’s watch together,” she said.
Slowly… slowly…
The sky began to glow.
The sun came up—
bright and warm.

The child clapped.
“It’s here!”
“Yes,” Mama smiled.
“And it comes every day.”
“Why?” The child asked.

Mama took the girl outside to garden.
“See the flowers?” she said.
The child looked and said “They are opening!”
“The sun helps them wake up,” Mama said.
The child smiled.

“Hello, flowers!”
Mama pointed again.
“See the birds?”
Chirp… chirp…
“They are singing!” The child said.
“The sun tells them it is morning,” Mama said.
The child listened happily.

Mama touched the child’s hands.
“Feel the warmth?”
The child nodded.
“It’s warm!”
“The sun gives us light and warmth,” Mama said.
“It helps us see, play, and feel happy.”

The child looked around.
The surroundings were bright.
“Oh!” she said.
“The sun makes everything shine!”

Mama nodded.
“And it comes on time every day.”
“Just like you can wake up, play, and rest on time.”
The child thought for a moment.
“Does the sun ever stop?” she asked.
Mama smiled gently.
“It works quietly, without stopping.”
“It moves all day… slowly…
from morning to evening.”

The child’s eyes grew wide.
“It works so hard!”
“Yes,” Mama said.
“And it helps everyone—
It knows the birds are waiting…
the flowers are waiting…
and you are waiting too.”
“So the sun comes for all of us?”
“Yes,” Mama said softly.
The child smiled brightly.

“The sun does its job every day.”
“It comes on time…
and gives light to everyone.”
The child thought for a moment and spoke
“I want to be like the sun!”

Mama laughed gently.
“I can do my little things every day too,” she said.
“I can wake up…play…and help.”
Mama smiled warmly.
“That’s just like the sun,” she said.
The child nodded.
“I will try!”
They both sat quietly,
feeling the warm sunshine.
Moral: Being steady and doing our little tasks every day makes life bright and happy.
