How to Make Paper Boat

Do you know how to make a paper boat? Monkey Pen will teach you a wonderful paper boat craft with an easy step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Take long strips of red and yellow colored paper that are of equal size.

Step 2: Place the yellow strips on the surface column-wise. Now take a red colored strip and insert it under the first yellow strip, then over the second, below the third, on top of the fourth and lastly under the fifth. Arranging red strips row-wise, do the above process with the first, third and fifth strips. With the second and fourth strips, it's just the reverse.

Step 3: Bring the lower ends of yellow strips together.

Step 4: Using a stapler, just staple it

Step 5: The craft looks like it is shown in the figure.

Step 6: Flip the craft over. Pull all the yellow ends and staple them.

Step 7: Now rotate the craft. Bring the red strips together and staple them.

Step 8: The red strips on one side are stapled.

Step 9: Do the same with the red strips on the other end, too.

Step 10: Now pull the red strips on both sides up and bring it together over the top.

Step 11: Hold them and staple it horizontally using a stapler.

Step 12: The boat shape is over.

Step 13: Now we will add a heart made of yellow paper to the boat.

Step 14: Paste the heart on top of the boat, where you stapled red strips together.

Step 15: Take a red heart and paste it on the upper end of the boat.

Step 16: And paste a red heart for the lower end too. Thus, a cheerful paper boat craft is ready.
