How to Make Tie
Want to learn how to make a tie? This step-by-step guide from Monkey Pen will help you create a paper tie effortlessly and enjoyably.
Step 1: Take a square of glitter paper. Here we have taken pink.

Step 2: Placing the paper in a diamond shape, cut one edge vertically from the bottom.

Step 3: Rotate the paper and cut the next edge too.

Step 4: Rotate and cut the third edge as well.

Step 5: Cut the fourth edge, too.

Step 6: Now you can see four triangles, a triangle on every side.

Step 7: Keeping the paper in a square shape, cut the right side of the bottom triangle

Step 8: Remove the right-sided triangle from the larger triangle.

Step 9: Cut the left side of the triangle too. Now, you will find only the centre portion.

Step 10: The bottom triangle is missing, and the other three triangles are seen.

Step 11: Rotate the paper upside down. Cut the right side of the bottom triangle in a slanting position.

Step 12: Cut the left side of the same triangle to create a small central triangle.

Step 13: Remove the central triangle.

Step 14: Turn the paper upside down once again and apply some glue on the right corner of the right triangle.

Step 15: Now fold that corner inside.

Step 16: Now apply glue on the left corner of the triangle.

Step 17: Fold the left corner inside too

Step 18: Repeat step 14

Step 19: Repeat step 15.

Step 20: Repeat step 16.

Step 21: Repeat step 17.

Step 22: Now flip the paper. Apply some glue on the right-side design, right below the empty ‘V’ design

Step 23: Pull the right bottom wing and bring it to the top.

Step 24: Now paste it over the glue.

Step 25: Now we will repeat the same process for the left side.

Step 26: Apply glue to the left side design as well, in the same place where you applied glue for the right design.

Step 27: Pull the left bottom wing up and bring it to the top as well.

Step 28: Flip the paper and turn it upside down. Then apply glue to the bottom of the central rectangular strip.

Step 29: Pull the central wing and paste the mid portion that sits on top of the common meeting point between two folded designs.

Step 30: Now you will see the remaining strip facing upward and left freely. Flip the paper once again.

Step 31: Pull the remaining strip portion inside and paste it over the two wings.

Step 32: Wow! A wonderful pink tie is ready!

Step 33: You can repeat the whole process using desired colored glittery paper. Here we have created one with red.
