How to Draw a Beehive – Easy Step-by-Step Nature Drawing for Kids

This beehive drawing lesson turns a simple nature-themed subject into a fun and satisfying sketching activity. How to draw a beehive effortlessly? With Monkey Pen’s step-by-step guide, it is so easy. 

Step 1: First draw a small leaf outline.

Step 2: Add a thin midrib at the centre and draw tiny veins for the leaves.

Step 3: Include the outline for two more leaves.

Step 4: Give veins to the other two leaves.

Step 5: Draw a tree branch using a long, narrow line.

Step 6: Make the tree branch using sharp curves that extend horizontally, then form a tiny stem that is lying vertically.

Step 7: Complete the stem part by raising above, then complete the branch with a diagonal line.

Step 8: Make tiny curves gently for the upper part of the beehive.

Step 9: Create the middle part of the beehive using soft curves.

Step 10: : Now include the bottom part of the beehive.

Step 11: Draw the bottommost part of the beehive.

Step 12: Complete the beehive using a few smooth curves. The beehive looks almost like an oval.

Step 13: Add a small circle at the center of the hive, slightly in the bottom portion.

Step 14: Now add an inner circle.

Step 15: Draw horizontal patterns within the beehive in the form of curved lines.

Step 16: Add a few more lines below.

Step 17: Then add some more lines toward the circle.

Step 18: Now draw some more lines to complete the beehive

Step 19: Draw a few spiral lines within the tree branch and the tiny stem.

Step 20: On the right side of the beehive, add a tiny honeybee having a head and antennae.
