How to draw a crown: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a small circle at the top of the circle, then draw two curving lines running down on both sides. 

Step 2: Draw a small circle along the left side, and then draw a line of curved lines underneath it. 

Step 3: Draw the same design on the other side using another small circle and a curving line. 

Step 4: Join the sides on the lower side with broad curved bands to create the crown's base. 

Step 5: Create a fluffy, curly strip of hair along the bottom of the crown. 

Step 6: Make a long curving line underneath the strip of fluffy. 

Step 7: Draw a third curved line over the fluffy strip that runs across the crown. 

Step 8: Draw the pointed top of the crown. 

Step 9: Include one large circular jewel at the centre, and three small round gems around the band. 

Step 10: Create smaller circles within each of the jewels. 

Step 11: Create small, round ornaments between the gems around the band. 

Step 12: Add color and finish your crown sketch.
