Learn how to draw an elf using easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions from Monkey Pen. 

Step 1: Draw the hair first using a spiky design.

Step 2: Add a right and left ear that looks like a sharp leaf.

Step 3: Draw the lower face that looks rounded and resembles a half-moon.

Step 4: Add details for the ears using short vertical lines.

Step 5: Include a Santa cap using a layer of cloud-like design

Step 6: Above this soft fluffy design, draw a half-circle with a tiny curve inside.

Step 7: At the soft end of the Santa cap, add a soft pompom.

Step 8: Give eyebrows on the face using tiny dash-like lines. Also add a nose and mouth with a tiny U facing down and a tiny half circle with a half heart shape inside, which is the tongue.

Step 9: Provide a neck design below the chin, which is a star shape with four arms. 

Step 10: Add clothes that start with a vertical line.

Step 11: On the right side, include arms using a tiny wide V followed by a slightly bigger V below.

Step 12: Just beside it, show soft handcuffs that look like a flower outline.

Step 13: Above it, add fingers for the right arm.

Step 14: Draw the left arm using a sloping line that takes a left turn later.

Step 15: Within the left arm, add the same in a smaller size inside to complete it, and show clothes for the left side body using a vertical line below, which looks like the alphabet 'F' facing sideways.

Step 16: Provide handcuffs and hands below for the left side arm.

Step 17: Add a thin layer using horizontal lines to show the belt, with an outer and inner square that indicates the buckle on the belt.

Step 18: Show the design of the frock using a series of Vs arranged horizontally.
