How to Draw a Fishing Boat – Step-by-Step Sea Craft Drawing for Kids

This fishing boat drawing lesson gently guides learners through building a detailed seaside scene, starting from simple base shapes and gradually shaping a classic fishing vessel. Step-by-step visuals help you add structure like the hull, cabin, and small functional details that give the boat its character, all in a way that feels approachable for beginners and kids. How to draw fishing boat: step-by-step drawing instructions 

Step 1: Draw a horizontal wavy line for the water. 

Step 2: Draw two curving lines that rise out of the lake. 

Step 3: Connect them using an extended curved line to form the apex of your boat. 

Step 4: Create a second curved line over it to create the top part of your boat. 

Step 5: Create an inner border on the top, and then shape the edges on the front and back sides. 

Step 6: Make a pile of fishing nets or ropes on the left-hand side of the vessel. 

Step 7: Create a second pile of fishing nets or ropes on the left side. 

Step 8: Three straight horizontal lines across the middle of the cabin support. 

Step 9: Draw the roof over the top of the supports. 

Step 10: Create a second line below the roof to give it an extra thickness. 

Step 11: Create a chimney-like design on the roof's top. 

Step 12: Three windows are drawn in the cabin. 

Step 13: Create a series of long, curving lines along the bottom of your vessel to make wooden planks. 

Step 14: Set up a mast high at the back of your vessel. 

Step 15: Create a slanting mast that is connected to the mast. 

Step 16: Incorporate curved rope lines starting from the mast and running to the bottom of the vessel. 

Step 17: Create more ropes to hang on the pole as well as the mast. 

Step 18: Include a small flag on top, and an elongated hanging hook that you can put a floating rope over. 

Step 19: Draw a horizontal deck line to the side of the cabin. 

Step 20: Incorporate additional water lines above and around the boat. 

Step 21: The fishing boat sketch is now completed. Color it with your favourite shades and enjoy!
