How to Draw the London Eye – Easy Step-by-Step Landmark Drawing for Kids

Take your drawing skills high above London with Monkey Pen and learn how to draw the London Eye step by step, from its giant wheel to its passenger capsules.

Step 1: First draw two small circles in the centre.

Step 2: Add two long support legs down from the centre.

Step 3: Under the supports, build the top portion of the base.

Step 4: Complete the bottom part of the base.

Step 5: Make a long horizontal line to show the ground surface. 

Step 6: Draw a big circle for the wheel surrounding the centre.

Step 7: Construct another larger circle closer to it for the outer rim.

Step 8: Add straight spokes from the centre to the wheel. 

Step 9: Draw another bigger circle around the previous circle.

Step 10: Build the outer rim with another circle closer to it.

Step 11: Add many triangle shapes between the bigger circles.

Step 12: Create several small passenger pods surrounding the wheel.

Step 13: Add two small horizontal lines inside each passenger pod.

Step 14: Make two tiny vertical lines between the horizontal lines. 

Step 15: Above the ground surface, draw a long horizontal line for the base.

Step 16: Begin a building above the base on the left side.

Step 17: Add one more layer above the building.

Step 18: The next layer of building is also added.

Step 19: Add doors, windows and roof details.

Step 20: Build a tower with tall vertical lines on the right side.

Step 21: On top of the tower, sketch a small square.

Step 22: The pointed roof and spire are included.

Step 23: Some vertical details are added to the tower surface.

Step 24: rovide vertical details inside the roof and spire. Remember to include a clock face within the square located at the top of the tower.

Step 25: Make a rectangular building beside the tower.

Step 26: Draw vertical lines to separate the building into sections.

Step 27: On top of this building, add pointed roof shapes.

Step 28: Include several windows inside each section, and don’t forget to provide a few building details.

Step 29: Add a tree on either side of the wheel and a vertical line under each wheel. Also provide the base detail.

Step 30: Give the horizontal details to the clock tower.

Step 31: Draw many wavy lines across the bottom for the river flow.

Step 32: The London eye drawing is completed.
