Step 1: Draw a tiny bow on the top of its head.

Step 2: Draw the right side of the character’s fluffy head.

Step 3: Draw soft furry lines to form the right cheeks.

Step 4: Now sketch the hairy head on the left.

Step 5: Add the cheeks on the left-hand side. 

Step 6: Draw the chin part with fluffy lines.

Step 7: Draw long ears on both sides.

Step 8:   Draw long ears on both sides.

Step 9: The fur lines are drawn on the left ear as well.

Step 10: Above the bow, make a small tuft of fur.

Step 11:  Include the nose, mouth, and tongue.

Step 12: On the forehead, add some fur details. Don’t forget to include eyebrows in the face. 

Step 13: Draw the right side of the neck.

Step 14: Draw the right front leg along with its paw.

Step 15: Create the chest line.

Step 16: Draw the left front leg.

Step 17: Draw the line of the lower body behind the left front leg. Also, sketch the upper body line behind the left ear. 

Step 18: Add the hind leg.

Step 19: Finish the back with fine strips of fur.

Step 20: Add a fluffy tail in the back.

Step 21: Add a bit of extra fluffy fur to finish off the tail.

Step 22: Add round eyes and fur detailing on the ears, body, and paws.

Step 23: Darken the inside of the eye.

Step 24: The playful Maltese is finished.
