How to Draw a Mouse Step by Step – Simple Animal Drawing Guide for Kids

Want to know how to draw a mouse with easy tips?  This step-by-step guide teaches you mouse art effectively in a playful way.

Step 1: First, let’s start with the mouse’s ear. Draw a big 'C’ for the ear.

Step 2: From one end of ‘C’, draw a curve, a small ‘m’, then a curve for the fluffy head.

Step 3: From C’s other end, create another m, followed by a curve for the face.

Step 4: Over the head, draw a medium C’ that is upside down. This is the mouse's other ear.

Step 5: Draw two tiny curves, one for the chin and the other for the mouth. Then include a strawberry design for the nose, which is wider at the top and less wide at the bottom.

Step 6: Add details inside one ear. Draw a medium ‘C’ inside; join both ends of the inner ‘C’ with two tiny Cs. Then create a raw, small, curved line from each tiny C. Now one ear is complete.

Step 7: Add eyebrows with tiny dashes. Also draw its lower mouth and teeth with a ’C’ and tiny ‘U’s.

Step 8: Draw whiskers on the face using small lines.

Step 9: Let’s draw its body and one front leg. Down the face, draw a small curve, a bend, then a small U. On one end of the U, draw a curved line.

Step 10: Then create its curved back from the side of the face.

Step 11: Add another leg that looks slightly like a U’, but the only difference is the bottom being flat and less wide.

Step 12: Draw its back leg and feet that look like an imperfect ‘3’, as the top portion is missing. In the lower portion of 3, show minute, sharp spikes for its claws.

Step 13: Include another back leg too, that looks somewhat like a triangle.

Step 14: Add details for the foot with tiny dashes. Then draw its curvy tail with a slightly slanting, bigger C. Include dashes inside the tail too.

Step 15: Draw its eyes using circles, one circle being larger and the other one being small.

Step 16: Include a small oval inside each eye for the eyeball. Darken the eyeballs, leaving a tiny portion free to show its eyes wide open. This gives a curious look to the mouse.

Step 17: A cute mouse drawing is over.
