How to Draw a Sakura Blossom – An Easy Step-by-Step Flower Drawing for Kids

Step 1: Draw a curving petal with a tiny curve on its outer edge.

Step 2: Place a second petal under the first.

Step 3: Make a second petal adjacent to the first petal.

Step 4: Put another petal to the side to the right of that petal.

Step 5: Draw the fifth petal on the bottom of the flower to finish the flower shape.

Step 6: Create small circles at the centre of the flower in a round shape.

Step 7: Draw fine lines starting from the centre of each small circle and meet at the centre of the flower.

Step 8: Draw a long curving stem that is below the flower.

Step 9: Create a line of curly lines that runs along the stem.

Step 10: Bring the branch downwards with a second long line parallel to the first one.

Step 11: Make the initial petal of a second bloom close to the lower end of the branch.

Step 12: Add two additional petals to the flower.

Step 14: Create two stem lines that are short below the second flower.

Step 15: Spread the branch downwards away from the flower that gets joined at the end of the first branch that you have already drawn.

Step 17: Create two more petals of another bloom on your lower left side.

Step 18: Add the other petals to make the final flower.

Step 19: Extend the main branch downwards.

Step 20: Draw a tiny branch, which connects to the third flower.

Step 21: Apply the cut-end detail to the beginning of the branch.

Step 22: Draw one side of a leaf on the right side with spiky edges.

Step 23: Finish the leaf outline.

Step 25: Create small circles at the centre of the third flower.

Step 26: Create thin lines from the centre to the outer circles of the third flower.

Step 28: Make thin lines from the centre to the circles of the second flower.

Step 29: Extend the main stem upwards toward the right.

Step 30: Place two small flower bases on the top of the branch as shown in the image.

Step 31: Make a bigger bud above the smaller base.

Step 32: Put another flower bud on the second flower base.
