Wide wings and smooth lines come together as kids follow simple steps to draw a seagull flying over the sea.

Step 1: Draw the beak of the seagull, drawing a tiny line for the mouth and a small curvature for the nose.

Step 2: In the beak, draw the head in a round shape, then draw one straight line to create the neck and then back.

Step 3: Draw a curved line across the neck's front to begin the chest and belly.

Step 4: Continue extending the back line and sweeping it over to start the longer body shape.

Step 5: Then add the lower line of the body, which curves downward from the belly toward the tail.

Step 6: Create the tail feathers at the back using two-pointed forms.

Step 7: Make a curved line of cheeks on the face. Then draw a long curve across the lower part of the body to create the belly or side.

Step 8: Make a few small feather lines along the wing close to the tail.

Step 9: Include a row of tiny spirally curved feathers on the wings.

Step 10: Draw a second set of curved feathers beneath the first row, and then draw an unintentional line below the body.

Step 11: Draw both legs as well as the feet that are webbed.

Step 12: Add web and toe details to the feet by adding just a couple of lines.

Step 13: Draw a huge rock beneath the seagull, with an even smaller rock shaped to the right.

Step 14: Include rock texture lines, as well as draw an arc pattern on the rock.

Step 15: Draw a tiny grassy tuft on that small stone.

Step 16: Draw the eye and sketch the outline of your head.

Step 17: Darken the eyes by drawing the pupils inward.

Step 18: Clean up all outlines and keep the outlines neat. Your seagull drawing is ready!
