How to Draw a Shotgun – Easy Step-by-Step Object Drawing for Kids

Practise drawing long, straight lines and simple shapes as Monkey Pen shows you how to draw a shotgun step by step with easy instructions.

Step 1: Draw the back stock of the shotgun just as shown in the image.

Step 2: Extend the top of the stock with a long line with a curved end.

Step 3: Draw the curved outline of the front grip.

Step 4: Complete the top body of the shotgun.

Step 5: Draw the trigger guard and add the trigger inside it.

Step 6: Add two parallel lines at the end of the stock.

Step 7: Draw the inner grip panel below the body.

Step 8: Add a small rounded slot on the upper body.

Step 9: Draw the long barrel extending from the front as in the picture.

Step 10: Add the small lower tube beneath the barrel.

Step 11: Draw the pump section around the lower tube.

Step 12: Add the front ring and a short tube at the muzzle.

Step 13: Extend the lower tube to the front.

Step 14: Draw the long ventilation slots along the top barrel.

Step 15: Add the grip texture and small screw details.

Step 16: Draw the curved outline on the pump grip.

Step 17: Add short curved lines across the pump grip for texture.

Step 18: Finish the shotgun by completing all the remaining details and darkening the outline. Now color your drawing to make it look more realistic!
