Crispy edges and soft shapes take form as kids sketch a slice of toast using simple curves and fun details.
Step 1: Draw a small square with curved edges to make your butter piece.

Step 2: Create another square outline underneath the butter.

Step 3: Create a wavy butter design around the butter piece.

Step 4: Draw the toast's main piece with an elongated top and straight edges as shown in the image.

Step 5: Create an outline of the inside of your toast slices.

Step 6: Draw a second line along the lower edge of the line to indicate the toast's or the bread's thickness.

Step 7: Draw another toast slice in the same direction as the first.

Step 8: Outline the inner side of your second slice of toast.

Step 9: Create another outline under the lower toast slice.

Step 10: Include the back curve of the plate under the toasts.

Step 11: Draw a larger circle around the toasts’ image for the outer portion of the plate.

Step 12: Make another circle just inside the plate to form its outer border.

Step 13: Make small dots of sprinkles on the toast slices.

Step 14: Clean up the dots and finish the sketch. Your toast is ready to color.
