Learn the magic of 3D drawing with Monkey Pen and discover how to draw two-point perspective buildings step by step using simple lines and easy perspective techniques.

Step 1: Draw a set of slanting lines on each side that meet at a point to make a wide upside-down “V” for the roof. 

Step 2: Add another line below on each side for the roof thickness. 

Step 3: Draw three vertical lines down from every corner of the roof. 

Step 4: Connect the lower ends of the lines with slanting lines to form the first building.

Step 5: Add two small, titled rectangles below the building. 

Step 6: Make the outer edge of the tilted rectangles using tiny curves, which is known as an awning. 

Step 7: Extend three vertical lines down the building for the ground floor.

Step 8: Add two square windows on the upper right wall.

Step 9: Two windows are included in the upper left wall as well.

Step 10: Design windowpanes that look like “+” symbols.

Step 11: To the right side of the ground floor, below the titled rectangle, add a square to the wall and a rectangle for the doorway.

Step 12: Repeat the same on the left side too.

Step 13: On the left side of this building, construct another building.

Step 14: Add an awning and vertical lines for the support.

Step 15: Another building is constructed beside.

Step 16: Make an awning for this building.

Step 17: Above the awning, design a row of tiny windows in a square shape.

Step 18: Raise a tall building behind this one.

Step 19: Complete the tall building’s outline.

Step 20: Within the building, add four rectangular windows horizontally.

Step 21: Behind the right side of the first building, draw another building.

Step 22: Include windows and a doorway to it.

Step 23:  Beside it, draw a vertical line following a sloping line that indicates another building.

Step 24: Complete the building outline with a “F” shape.

Step 25:  Four rectangular windows are arranged in two rows each on the upper floor. Furthermore, a doorway is included in the ground floor. 

Step 26: Behind this building, draw a sharp rectangle with one edge raised to show a building’s front side. 

Step 27: Construct the side of the building with a slanting “7”.

Step 28: On the front side of the building, add small grid lines.

Step 29: On the lower level of this building, new construction starts.

Step 30: Draw the ground lines with a wide “V” shape.

Step 31: The outer “V” is created below for the pavement.

Step 32: Make a thin outer edge of the pavement by duplicating the “V” shape beneath.

Step 33:  Create several straight guide lines leading to the right vanishing point.

Step 34:  Similarly, guide lines are drawn towards the left vanishing point as well.

Step 35: Beginner friendly two-point perspective buildings are completed.
