Curly tails, big eyes, and branch-hugging poses come together as kids follow simple steps to draw a colourful chameleon.
Step 1: Draw a bumpy, curved line to your head's top.

Step 2: The front portion of the face and the mouth to the side of the head.

Step 3: Draw the back of the head upwards.

Step 4: Include the round shape of the eye on the right side of the head.

Step 5: Outline the tall crest on the top of your head.

Step 6: Lower the line of the mouth and place the chin below the face.

Step 7: Create a long curly tongue that hangs down.

Step 8: Draw the curly back and body outline, starting from the top down toward the tail area.

Step 9: Include the long spiral tail at the base.

Step 10: Draw the chest and neck line below the head.

Step 11: Include the front arm as well as the front foot.

Step 12: Draw the foot and leg in the back.

Step 13: Incorporate the belly line and the front foot with the other side underneath.

Step 14: Draw curving bands and shorter lines on the tail.

Step 15: Make small patches similar to the body of the chameleon.

Step 16: Draw the large round eyes, the small nose, and the tongue details.

Step 17: Draw the branch underneath the chameleon.

Step 18: Wrap the band around the branch. Wrap the band around it.

Step 19: Draw the lines of wood over the branch.

Step 20: Add dark pupils to each eye.

Step 21: Finish the drawing by shading the pupils black and then completing any final outline.
